Marin County Parks maintains an extensive system of regional and community parks, open space preserves, and trails for public use and enjoyment. The department consists of two divisions: the Parks and Landscape Division and the Marin County Open Space District (MCOSD). Members of the Parks team are committed professionals in a variety of disciplines: operations and maintenance, natural resources and science, landscape architecture, communications and education, planning and acquisition, government and external affairs, and administration and finance.
