  • On a clear day, enjoy panoramic views from Marin across the water to the East Bay.
  • Enjoy spacious lawns and shady trees.
  • No fishing license is required when fishing from the pier. Plus there's a station to clean your catch. When fishing from the shore, you will need a valid fishing license.
  • Launch a kayak or canoe.

Know Before You Go

  • No dogs or other companion animals allowed at Paradise, except service animals.
  • Watch tides; currents can be strong.
  • Groups of more than 20 people must make an advance reservation. Learn more about group reservations.
  • Marin County Environmental Health Services (EHS) tests water once a week from April 1 through October 31, to determine if the beach meets California water quality standards for recreational water contact. For details, visit EHS Water Quality Testing.
