McNears Beach

There's free entry to all Marin County Parks every first Saturday.

Three for Free

Passenger vehicles with up to ten people can enter McNears Beach Park for free the first Saturday of every month, thanks to Measure A Days.

If you have a Marin County library card, you can check out a free library park pass from any Marin County Free Library.

Hike, bike, or kayak in to McNears Beach Park for free any time the park is open.

Note: Summer season swimming pool fees still apply.

Passenger Vehicle Entry and Parking

  • Monday through Friday: $5
  • Spring, fall, and winter weekends: $5
  • Summer weekends: $10
  • Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day holidays: $10

McNears Pool Entry

  • $5 per person

Annual Park Pass

The annual park pass provides access to all Marin County parks and facilities that charge an entrance or parking fee. The pass is valid for one year. For more information read the Annual Park Pass FAQ.

  • General public: $93.00 per pass
  • Seniors 65 and older: $41.00 per pass
  • Disabled individuals: $41.00 per pass

Site Reservations

Groups of 20 or more participants, whether formally organized or not, must make an advance reservation. During fall and winter season park group reservation fees are half off.
