Stafford Lake Bike Park

Respect bike park rules to make your visit safe and enjoyable.

SAFETY FIRST

  • Helmets required. No exceptions.
  • Use body armor and protective gear.
  • Safety check your bike and gear before riding.
  • Conditions change constantly so always inspect where you are riding.
  • Assess weather and wind conditions.
  • No building or modifying trails and features.

BIKES ONLY

  • No dogs, scooters, skateboards, remote control (RC) vehicles, or motorized vehicles including electric bicycles.
  • Pedestrians must stay off trails and features, except where permitted. Stay visible.

USE FACILITY AT YOUR OWN RISK

  • Riding here is a hazardous recreational activity; per California Government Code 831.7.
  • Children 8 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult.

BE COURTEOUS

  • Call out when passing.
  • Be helpful to less experienced riders.
  • Yield to pedestrians and uphill traffic.

RIDING JUMPS AND FEATURES

  • Ride within your abilities. Progress slowly.
  • One rider at a time. Look before you jump.
  • Clear landing areas quickly.

RIDING TRAILS

  • Stay on trails and don't skid out.
  • Keep off closed trails.
  • Only ride trails within your abilities.

GENERAL RULES

  • No smoking or alcohol.
  • No vandalizing.
  • Keep the park clean and litter-free. Use garbage cans provided, and carry out all your belongings.
  • Be peaceful. Loud noise and amplified music are not allowed.
  • No firearms of any kind.
  • Permit is required for groups of 20 or more people.
  • Some park locations may require permits for commercial use, including tours, classes, camps, film, or photography. Learn about permit applications.
  • Do not approach, follow, or feed wildlife.
