Marin County Parks and Open Space Department

The Trail Maintenance Team (TMT) is perfect for individuals who want to help rangers maintain the roads and trails that traverse the Marin County Parks preserve system. The ideal person is willing to get their hands dirty and take part in strenuous work using hand tools and small power equipment. It is a great way to gain experience in trail maintenance and construction. The TMT works with the Open Space District road and trail crew on a variety of trail improvement and restoration projects throughout the entire preserve system.

TMT members must be at least 18 years of age and commit to a minimum of six volunteer days per year. Previous trail maintenance experience is not required. To get started, please complete a volunteer application form (click button on the right) and submit to Volunteer Coordinator Greg Reza (contact information below). Greg will contact you for an interview.

If you want to learn more about joining the TMT, contact Volunteer Coordinator Greg Reza at (415) 473-3778.
