Parks and Open Space Commission

Overview

The Parks and Open Space Commission advises the Marin County Board of Supervisors regarding parks and open space policy, and to conduct public hearings on parks and open space matters considered for recommendation to the Board. Learn more about the Parks and Open Space Commission.

Regular Meetings

The next Parks and Open Space Commission meeting takes place on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this meeting is being conducted remotely.

How to make a public comment:

  • Email comments to ParksComments@marincounty.org no later than 3:30 p.m. on July 14, 2021. Include the agenda item, your name, and address. Attachments to emails are permitted.
  • Join the Zoom meeting on July 15 by device or telephone using the information above. On a digital device click the Zoom “raise hand” icon. On a phone press *9 to “raise hand.” The moderator will tell you when it’s your turn to speak.
  • All comments become part of the public record.

Regular meetings are held generally on the third Thursday of every other month beginning in January. The commission may schedule additional meetings as needed.
