- Public Comment Time
Open time for public expression, up to three minutes per speaker, on items not on today's agenda. Commissioners will hear items without return comment or discussion. Testimony regarding matters not on the agenda will not be considered part of the administrative record.
- Approve Minutes for Meeting Held on April 22, 2016 (Action Item)
- Staff from the Invasive Spartina Project (ISP) will present an update on their comprehensive IPM efforts to eradicate Spartina from the marsh at Creekside Marsh at Hal Brown Park (Information Item)
Commission members will receive a presentation from representatives of the ISP Project on the history, current status, and a look towards the future of the ISP at the Hal Brown Park site.
- IPM Coordinator's 2016 Second Quarter Report (Information Item)
Staff will present an IPM program report for the 2nd quarter of 2016. Topics will include summary of product use, violations and exemptions issued, and alternative IPM efforts associated with the County’s IPM program.
- Annual IPM award (Action Item)
The commission will discuss reactivation of the County’s annual IPM award. Discussion will focus on review of past winners, award criteria, and potential candidates for consideration for the 2016 Award. Commissioners will vote to select an award recipient. The recipient will be invited to the October IPM Commission meeting to formally receive the award.
- Commission Member Comments (Information Item)
Commission members may briefly speak about items of interest to the council that do not appear on the agenda. Commissioners cannot discuss or take action of these items.
