680 Trail Mitigations Public Workshop November 3, 2010

Marin County Open Space District invites interested organizations and individuals to a public workshop about the 680 Trail. Following a project overview, staff will facilitate small group discussions to identify potential revised and new measures to mitigate impacts of the proposed trail.

680 Trail Hike July 5, 2010

Marin County Open Space District staff invites interested organizations and individuals to go on a hike of the updated proposed trail alignment on the Loma Alta Preserve. Participants must RSVP to (415) 499-6387. The hike will be very strenuous, up to seven miles on steep slopes, and may take up to seven hours. You may leave early.

The two meeting times and locations include:

  1. 10:00 am at the end of Glen Drive in Fairfax (meet at the bottom of the Smith Ranch Fire Road).
  2. 10:30 am on the Smith Ranch Fire Road at the junction with the hiking trail known as the “Meditation Trail”.

680 Trail Planning Update Meeting April 13, 2010

Marin County Open Space District staff invites interested organizations and individuals to a public meeting about the 680 Trail. Staff will provide a project update, including review of the proposed trail alignment map.

680 Trail Meeting and Hike January 2010

The Marin County Open Space District invites interested organizations and individuals to a public meeting about the proposed 680 Trail. Two meeting dates are available. Following the meeting, staff will lead a hike on the proposed route. The hike will be very strenuous, several miles on steep slopes and may take up to five to seven hours. The notice below provides details about the hike.
