Marin County Parks invites bids from qualified contractors on a variety of projects.
ISSUE DATE: 02/01/2012
Project Description: Work includes acquisition of, assembly, and installation of new lake-source-intake pump station, including mainline, trenching, and connection/tie-in to the existing irrigation system mainline. Work will include locating the specified lake depth for the pump station placement, placement of the pump station at that submerged depth, assembling the mainline from the new pump station location to the new pump station controls, and to the existing mainline. Also included is coordination with North Marin Water District, for relocation of the existing irrigation system water meter to downstream of the tie-in location to the existing main. Electrical work, including trenching work, from the existing electrical service box to the pumps and controls enclosure is also included. The project bids in March 2012, for construction in August/September 2012, with all work to be completed prior to October 15, 2012.
